This ghostly scene resembles a UFO landing strip. It's actually the observing area at New Mexico Skies Guest Observatory, Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The entire complex is illuminated by dim lighting. There is no need for a flashlight as you move around. The telescope domes house some of the best amateur equipment available today.
